Questions
Frequently asked questions
What are IJMB and JUPEB?
They are programmes that candidates use as an alternative route when seeking Direct Entry admission. Whether a university accepts the result, and at what level, depends on the institution, the programme and the rules that apply.
What is Direct Entry?
Direct Entry is admission into a level above the first year for candidates who hold a qualification the institution accepts. Each institution sets its own requirements for each course.
Do IJMB or JUPEB candidates never need JAMB?
Yes. IJMB and JUPEB offer alternative routes to Direct Entry admission without JAMB UTME. However, candidates should confirm the current admission requirements of their target institution and programme.
How does JAMB and Post-UTME work?
JAMB runs the UTME and the national admission process. Many institutions also run their own screening, commonly called Post-UTME. Dates and requirements are announced officially, and we help you understand them.
What are the admission requirements?
They depend on the course and institution, and they can change each year. Tell us your target and we will explain what to check and where to confirm it.
Can you help me find scholarships?
We share information and link to the official provider. Providers decide who is selected, so we cannot guarantee any award, and you should never pay to “secure” a scholarship.
What are your fees, and when are registration deadlines?
Fees and deadlines are set by the relevant body or institution and change over time, so we do not list fixed figures here. Message us on WhatsApp for current information and confirm it with the official source.
